REVIEW: Nick Sember - Forth out on Anjunabeats

Formally one half of Anjunabeats wild Californian duo Norin & Rad, Nick Sember strikes out on his own with the fun and frenzied prog-trancer, "Forth".

Debuted by Above & Beyond at this summer's SW4 Festival in London and a highlight from their Madison Square Garden set, Nick looses none of the melodic quirkiness and production ingenuity that made Norin & Rad such a popular combination. Building from a boisterous and bouncy bassline, "Forth" sweeps into a refined anthemic riff - before falling back into the helter skelter groove that gives this track such a frenetic energy.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Anjunabeats continues to broaden our boundaries of what can be called trance nowadays with another high class production by the hands of Nick Sember who is one half of Norin & Rad. The track is called Forth and is the perfect hybrid that sounds great on big room house or big room trance dj set. It starts with powerful and dominating thumping bouncy marching drum, heavy kicks and sharp aggressive electro freaked out basslines that shape the earth shuttering foundation that sounds playful and very energetic as well. The breakdown is the moment that the fantastic piano melody is coming to the surface supported by great danceable groove underneath until to explode out of proportions on the full on hands in the air euphoric sequence that is optimistic, colourful with rhythm and groove that ensures that you will totally lost in the middle of the dancefloor! Anjunabeats is pure quality and class and Forth is another example of modern feel good style that moves in and out of the constraints of what we term as trance nowadays! #PureGold Love IT
