REVIEW: Croquet Club - Only You Can Tell out on Anjunadeep

In the last 12 months cult Anjunadeep favourite Croquet Club has earned radio support from the likes of Zane Lowe, Danny Howard, Rob Da Bank and Monki with his quirky brand of electronica, as well as glowing praise from Mixmag, Indie Shuffle, Clash and Line Of Best Fit for his recent Jacuzzi EP.

Heavily influenced by the likes of Air and Bonobo, the man behind the moniker, Frenchman Jeremy Villecourt provides his own vocals once again over the gorgeous rising harmonies of "Only You Can Tell", the opening track from the recent iTunes Dance Chart topping compilation "Anjunadeep 06".

Atmospheric textures, crisp stripped back percussion and a warm guitar riff swirl beneath the gentle vocal refrain, in another showcase of Croquet Club's unique and inventive style.

Dimitri Kechagias review: One of our favourite artist from Anjunadeep is back with the super beautiful record Only You Can Tell. Croquet Club delivers the goods and his mission to cast a spell on you is 100% accomplished without any doubt. We deal here with a magical hybrid of deep house, electronic and chill out music. Lazy grooves underneath while on top deep funky basslines, warm cinematic strings, melodic synths, guitar licks and intoxicated vocal sample that create the haunting atmosphere that could bring in your mind lazy rainy afternoons somewhere in France. Relaxing emotional music that goes deep under your skin and is very hard not to feel it inside your soul. It calms and creates the right mood at the beginning of your set for a surprising journey packed with love, peace and happiness and analogue like emotions. #PureGold #PureClass Love IT
