Of course, his remix couldn’t be used for obvious reasons, but it so impressed a hitchhiker (who’s camel had just broken down), that she hopped in his dune buggy as he casually cruised through the middle of the Sahara desert.
It was the girl’s idea to send the song to her dear friends Chris Lago, Lekesch & Schekel, and Addal, who completed Y.V.E. 48’s ‘On The Road’ remix package in brilliant style. The mysterious hitchhiker woman? Why she turned out to be none other than the queen of soul herself: Kelly Clarkson.

Addal remix is moving on the same territory as the original version with main difference the more playful arrangement, UK garage house influences and fantastic application of the original guitar riff along with the full vocal lines that work so beautifully to deliver the final mythic melodic result. Chris Lago transform the original into an exceptional dreamy deep electronic friendly version that includes superb breakdown with melancholic piano, vocal samples and cinematic moody atmosphere.
