Dimitri Kechagias review: Dan Thompson is one of the most consistent producers at the moment delivering unstoppable club anthems that manage to get the prestigious accomplishment as Tune of the Week on Armin van Buuren radio show ASOT. His latest production is called Chronicle and you can easily guess why is again Tune of The Week on ASOT by just checking it once. It's one of those tracks that persuade the listener from the very first time that we deal here with an important track that will be at the forefront of the trance scene for the next months. Solid bouncy aggressive raw basslines, marching punchy drums, playful arrangement with constant changes, stop and goes effects and even that old "hoover" sound. The synthy line comes in to hypnotise the crowd and lead the track to the fantastic breakdown that starts in truly cinematic mode with huge orchestral strings, airy pads followed by the outburst of massive colourful synthy stabs that sound sharp and in your face. The build up is rough and intense until the kick comes back for the euphoric hands in the air climax. This is what I call the ride of your life time packed with intensity, emotional synths, epic confidence and raw foundation that pushes the track to its well deserved climax.
