Co-produced alongside esteemed contemporaries Sander van Doorn and Canadian duo DVBBS, who recently joined forces with Tinie Tempah to produce the incredible ‘Tsunami (Jump)’, it’s a track that stretches the trio’s combined compositional skills to the fullest.
Centered around a luscious, strung-out vocal from talented up-and-comer Aleesia, ‘Gold Skies’ builds with soft, hazy melodies that lend a mystical, enchanting quality to the track’s opening. As expertly crafted synth lines and club-ready bass begin to make their mark, the manner in which all four producers continue to harmonize ideas throughout is a testament to the sheer depth of talent that each possesses. Certainly not typical of Garrix’s previous works in particular, ‘Gold Skies’ represents a wonderfully innovative, fully absorbing new collaborative record.
Already heavily backed by BBC Radio 1 tastemakers Pete Tong, Zane Lowe and Danny Howard and exclusively premiered online by leading music title ‘Rolling Stone’, ‘Gold Skies’ thus feels all set to deliver as one of the summer’s biggest seasonal anthems.

Dimitri Kechagias review: When 3 mega stars collaborate for a single you can easily guess that the result will be extremely explosive to say the least. Sander van Doorn, Martin Garrix, DVBBS combine their artistic impulses and they serve the world the summer anthem Gold Skies. The real icing in the cake of this very large epic progressive house banger is Aleesia with her distinctive ethereal voice. Energetic peak time progressive house grooves, energetic rough basslines and great breakdown with piano melody that touch your heart and great chorus vocals that remind Empire Of The Sun style support Aleesia voice and make the track the absolute singalong moment. The climax is euphoric, hands in the air and feel good to the maximum with playful euphoric synthy lead that sounds great on festivals. The remix package landed and you can be pretty sure that your choice is widened even more. First of all Tiesto delivers his firestorming kicks, heavy pounding basslines along with massive breakdown that is packed with huge euphoric synthy stabs followed by heavy cranking bass driving drop that will move any dancefloor with chopped vocals and crowd pleasing effects to make the clubbers go crazy instantly.
