Patrick Hagenaar's “Come Closer” encapsulates the true essence of Summer, with its warm basslines, energetic grooves, piano driven melodies and shimmering 'oldskool' vocals.
On remix duties we have Halfway House, delivering their typical big room sound on the already epic original, and Scott Foreshaw, taking everything to a deeper level!
Dimitri Kechagias review: Flashover Progressive House presents the much awaited remixes of the huge progressive house anthem Come Closer(Not Too Close) by the super talented producer Patrick Hagenaar. First on remix duties are Halfway House that didn't loose even a second to transform the original into a powerful full on hands in the air electro house cracker that will get many mainstage plays in the coming weeks. It starts with marching drums, ultra fat basslines and hints of the uplifting synthy riff until to land on the breakdown where the old school female vocal sample is combined with the piano chords until the huge build up that lead us on the first aggressive wild and furious and totally unstoppable drop that will be remembered for long. The second breakdown is longer with the addition of huge euphoric synthy hooks that will lead the track to its short feel good uplifting section until the hysteric maddening drop to return for its revenge on the dancefloors. The good news continue on this release with Scott Foreshaw transforming the original into a magnificent deep house version with chunky groove, deep funky basslines, old school organ melodies. and piano that remains in your memory. #PureHouseJoy Love It
