Zel McCarthy is the Editor-in-Chief of THUMP, the electronic music and culture channel of VICE Media. Previously, he covered dance music for Billboard and before that served as an editor at the print edition of Big Shot Magazine. While he loves dance music, Zel also goes to rock shows and an opera or symphony performance from time too time. McCarthy will talking about the realities of working in digital media and what skill-sets you need to work in the sector.
