Dimitri Kechagias review: The top record sublabel of Blu Fin records is back! Yellow Tail present the excellent Meeting EP by CRCKSN. Mother Earth is a mysterious deep house track with unique sounds and playful arrangement. The industrial synths used add that unpleasant sci-fi atmosphere to the track making wonder what I'm going to meet next. Dark, moody, eclectic but very floating and danceable is one of those little gems that will magnetise the ears on the dancefloor and with closed eyes you will follow the orders of your own heart and soul that would be to dance until the morning comes. The soulful vocal is a big plus to the track as it gives that cutting arty edge that sounds very inspiring. If you want something more deeper with tribal grooves and more upfront atmosphere with just some vocals in the breakdown then ERNST & WERNER version sounds the more appropriate for you particularly if you wish to blend it with other deep house essential tracks. Second original track is Capre Noctem. This track falls more in the melodic techno category with techy groove, deep wonky basslines, cool synthy melodies and strange spoken vocal samples that will make you think for sure.
