ADE 2014: Meet Phil Cumming, non-executive director, Julie’s Bicycle.

Explore what it takes to green your event with a globally recognised expert.

ADE Green is exceedingly proud to welcome Phil Cumming, internationally acknowledged as a leader in implementing sustainability. Phil has more than 15 years experience working on major projects, including developing and managing the delivery of the award-winning sustainability strategy for the London 2012 Olympic Games from the ground up. The project culminated in the Learning Legacy program - the first time that a major UK project has attempted to capture intellectual capital on this scale. Cumming is currently a key member of Kingfisher PLC’s Net Positive team and non-executive director at Julie’s Bicycle.

At ADE Green, he will deliver a keynote presentation on how to green your festival, exploring in-depth what it takes to make an event more ecologically responsible. ADE Green covers everything from first steps to giant steps, and gives delegates everything they need in order to be more green! The one-day event is a music industry initiative to encourage and inspire sustainable change in the music business by bridging the gap between the creative industries and ecological projects. Do you want to be more Green, but don’t know where to start? Or are you already on your way and eager to share ideas with producers, caterers, sponsors, artists and other well meaning human beings? So, come and join us at ADE Green!
