A journey to the Volkhotel's 7th floor club gives you a great view at Amsterdam's vibrant Eastern area.
Located in Amsterdam's Eastern area, Canvas op de 7e is a club based on the seventh floor of the brand new Volkshotel; a creative hotspot that opened its doors in July. The area where once journalists of the Dutch newspaper 'de Volkskrant' met for their lunch has recently been renovated and turned into one of Amsterdam's most multifunctional venues: hotel breakfast, lunch & dinner, drinks and beats are all served in the same place.
The name Canvas has been around for quite a while in Amsterdam's club circuit. Known for its mixed crowd, raw interior and 'underground vibes' the club, and especially its terrace, offers a stunning view on Amsterdam. With this in mind the concepters of the new Canvas expanded the rooftop terrace and they even added a new hangout: the Petit Canvas. Go check it out!
