REVIEW: The Madison - Reflecting The Sun (feat. 3PM) / Dujah out on VANDIT records

01: Reflecting The Sun (Feat 3pm)
02: Dujah

As a leading light of Ukraine's ever thriving trance & progressive scene, The Madison is a man who's made a very big splash in an extraordinarily short space of time. 20+ releases in a little under 4 years has seen him chart an upward career trajectory most stellar. In that time he's recorded for 2Play, Liquid Recordings, Oxygen and others, as well as a delivering a daisy chain of club hits for Enhanced's Progressive arm. This though is his first for VANDIT and with it another two anthems lie in wait.

After 2012's 'A Piece Of Me' on Alter Ego, on 'Reflecting The Sun' Stanislav 'The Madison' Nozdrachov affects a studio-reconnect with vocalist Casey '3PM' Clark. Angular analogue-ish waveforms, jacking drums and a stabbed intro riff augur the arrival of the American's floor-seizing lyrics and vocals. As 'Reflecting The Sun' hits its supremely infectious "don't let go"' chorus, club-side, you'll be measuring its effect by the megaton!

For those more instrumentally minded, VANDIT's latest has you just as well covered. 'Dujah' shifts the tempo & vibe much closer to the equator, with hazy, castaway melodies, plenty of evocating phase & delay, angelic piano chimed breakdown and with its pads & chords, more than a touch of espíritu de Ibiza.

The Madison's VANDIT debut comes correct on June 30th.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The exceptional trance producer and dj from Ukraine, The Madison returns with his standing out double tracker Reflecting The Sun featuring the stunning vocals by the male singer 3PM and the top tune Dujah. The package is really extensive with fantastic vocal and dub mixes plus radio friendly edits. Reflecting The Sun is what we can easily term as balearic progressive trancer at its very best. Chunky housey grooves, deep throbbing basslines, electro infused sound effects  and superb arrangement that creates the rich fat foundation that sounds fantastic on big loud systems. The breakdown starts with piano chords, warm strings and emotional synths highlighting the sensitive nature of the male indie rock vocals. The climax is truly epic and euphoric to the maximum with banging beats, slamming kicks and colourful euphoric synthy stabs driving the track to its highest crescendo moment that your mind will fly away and you will jump along with smile in your face! The Dub mix is the appropriate for those who prefer to concentrate on the heavy bassline and catapult the progressive floors from big room trance or even progressive house. Second top anthem is Dubaj that is the deep moody balearic progressive trance version with deeper brooding basslines, bouncy chunky grooves and fantastic breakdown with sweet ad really delicate and fragile piano melodies followed by massive euphoric synthy stabs that lead the track to its feel good positive and very optimistic climax that will elevate your mind, body and soul to a higher level cause music is all about journeys out of your head reaching a higher point of feeling and existing. The Madison never fails to deliver and VANDIT noticed that of course! #PureGold Love iT
