Black Hole are delighted to announce the signing of Mavie Marcos as a solo artist to the label. The former front woman and partner of Josh Gabriel in the celebrated electronic music group Andain, Mavie’s was the voice that brought classics like ‘Beautiful Things’, ‘Summer Calling’ and the ‘You Once Told Me’ album to life. In tandem with several notable producers, the singer/song-writer has already begun work on a Mavie Marcos album project - more news/details of which will soon follow.
Of the signing, Arny Bink, CEO of Black Hole Recordings commented: “Mavie is an enormous talent, both as a singer and lyricist, which is something that the Black Hole family have been more than aware of throughout her time with us. We see her playing an even greater role in our artist roster into the second half of the decade. We’re very excited about launching her solo career and bringing you her first standalone album!”
