REVIEW: Tim Schroeder - ZIPF ZUPF EP out on TAKT records / BluFin

We celebrate the '50' in Pink ;)

ZIPF ZUPF is the debut EP of TAKT A&R Tim Schroeder from Cologne Germany. This 4 track EP takes you on a journey from Acid grooves straight to your mind with „ZIPF“ to a more deep emotional track with a trancy guitar sound on „ZUPF“. Followed by „Crazy Stuff“ a techno bomb which speaks for itself and ends with atmospheric synth sounds in „B-Lever“. Check this massive EP out!

Dimitri Kechagias review: The top techno label Takt Records part of the BluFin records family presents 4 massive anthems in one big pink package. Tim Schroeder delivers his ZIPF ZUPF EP and what you can say other than prepare to dance and sweat on the dancefloor. Zipf is an excellent deep techno viber with cool housey infusions and acid infiltrations. Groovy and hypnotic to the maximum what you need is just a loud speaker to play it and enjoy it's dark flavours. Zupf is a top moody tech house alternative with analogue feel and very nice atmosphere and danceable groove. Excellent tribalish percussion, funky basslines and great guitar riffs in the breakdown.  Laid back and spacey is definitely an invite to discover and feel the good old school vibes in truly futuristic packaging. Crazy Stuff is a minimal 8 minutes techno track with snake like charm that slowly evolves and allows to come to the surface the very groovy playful wonking and absolutely maddening synthy melody. Lastly B-Lever is the very cool minimal techno tune with great vocal samples and synthy melody along with nice atmosphere on top to keep the dancefloor moving and shaking. Love IT
