1-ReOrder remix
2-Joseph Areas remix
3-Somna remix
Leave it to wunderkind Andy Moor to produce a tune so mesmerizing that one round of remixes simply isn’t enough to adequately cover the feeling and intensity of the original.
Three highly capable remixers took ‘Fade To Light’ as their inspiration, and they came up with three widely varying interpretations.
From ReOder’s 138 BPM all-out remix, to Somna’s poetic, subtle tune, to Joseph Areas classic trance revamp, each track in this release brings something new and fresh to the original.
Dimitri Kechagias review: The exceptional single Fade to Light from the hands of the beloved dj & producer Andy Moor is now remixed by some of the hottest trance talents at the moment in 3 totally different directions to widen the appeal of the magical original track that is considered to be a trance classic already. It's blessing to have to work in your remix with Andy Moor's original samples and every each one of them did their best to reveal a hidden or missing side of the original. First of all is the uplifting trance dj ReOrder who service his full on uplifting trance version. Straight forward composition that utilise the euphoric synthy lead in the best possible way but ReOrder respects the progressive & tech character of the original track and his remix reflects that as he combines electro / tech trance and uplifting into an explosive magical banger. Stunning breakdown with ethereal vocals and sweet melodies followed by the highly anthemic melody that lead the track to its full on headbanging climax that will carry away the listeners. Joseph Areas remix is a powerful electro meets prog trance smasher that will work like a treat in your big room trance or even mainstage prog house set. Tough banging kicks, slamming electro touched booming basslines and fantastic use of the euphoric synthy lead that comes slowly from underneath and very soon catapults the dancefloor. The euphoric uplifting hands in the air sequence follows and the rocking drop comes next to drive the clubfloor insane with bass / dubstep influences. Last remix on Part 1 is by Somna who seems to be all over the place with releases on the finest labels. His version is a powerful super energetic progressive trance version with certain darkness to it. Crunchy groove and driving aggressive electro infused basslines are melted nicely with electronic synthy riffs and vocal samples. The breakdown is really calm with warm piano melody that relax your senses and sweet ambiance that sound exactly like what you can hear at early morning in the summer. His climax is hands in the air of course but is interesting that he reworks slightly the original epic synthy and add his Somna flavour in it! 3 top remixes to extend the influence of this trance classic! #PureGold Love it
