Dimitri Kechagias review of the dj sampler: Armada Deep vol. 1 is the brand new concept at Armada Music selecting amazing deep music from wide spectrum of electronic music styles to refresh your senses and elevate your consciousness. First of all is eXcess with Sauve Moi that is a magnificent chill out production with live music arrangement with break beats, truly hypnotic synthy melodies, erotic piano chords and some French vocal samples. It's the kind of track that you can easily enjoy in the soundtrack of a film with its elegant artistic eclectic black and white celluloid feel. Next comes Feaver with the brilliant production Mist that is an exceptional example of lounge/chilly house style track with deep smooth basslines, minimal techy grooves and melancholic piano chords. The track half way through is transformed into an energetic indie dance style track with disco funk electrified basslines that disappear in the smooth liquid relaxing breakdown for a while and come in the surface at the final part. Perfect early evening bar style music that djs at nice elegant bars in the city will play for sure. Luke Hassan has his share on this compilation with the exclusive cut I Swear. Superb deep tech house hypnotic beauty with fantastic drums and nice percussion plus UK garage influences and cool female vocal snippet as well. With early 90's retro atmosphere but in truly futuristic soundscape I Swear stands out easily. Sizzlebird present on this compilation the really sweet and mellow chill out production Come Around. With fantastic atmospheric intro and melancholic moody piano melodies combined with great percussion, xylophone melodies and various vocal snippets Sizzlebird will relax your senses and help you recreate yourself for a while. Last but not Subcquence present the anthem Hope. Electronic deep tech house beauty with guitar licks, saxophone samples and nice piano that will make you dance the night away with wide smile on your face. It includes cool spoken vocal speech as well that emphasises and highlights the title of the track Hope.
