REVIEW: Syke n Sugarstarr - Ticket 2 Ride (2014 remixes) out on Do The Hip

A classic is back. It was 2003 when Syke'n'Sugarstarr firstly released their second single "Ticket 2 Ride". It was one of those tracks which gained massive support by nearly all the big names in the housemusic biz, while it has been signed to over 20 different territories and labels worldwide. A track which Dolce & Gabbana used for their fashion Shows, and which is stilled in the DJ's boxes to be played out in it's Original version. But now - finally - an update is coming strongly with new & deeper mixes by Andrey Exx who recently layed hands on Lissat & Voltaxx' "Groovejet" and made it a Beatport Top 10 smasher. His monster-remix comes along with a new treatment by Sugarstarr himself which is touching the Original's flava but in a slight deeper way. Vienna's finest Heinrich Matis provides a strong, but deep & dark Mix for the Underground moments, while Espanol action can be felt with the new remix by DJ Kone & Marc Palacios. "Ticket 2 Ride 2014" is an All-Around-Package including all the DJ's upfront needs

Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the biggest house classics of all times from the awesome duo of Syke'n'Sugarstarr is back. As it seems we are entitled to book again our Ticket 2 Ride and enjoy 4 new makeovers that will become part of your dj set for sure. Andrey Exx version is moody deep tech house version with 90's influences in a very futuristic cinematic glossy atmosphere with funky basslines, chunky grooves and melodic synths. Sugarstarr version is upfront deep tech house version with wobbly basslines and classic house organ riffs. It's one of those versions that will make you sweat for sure. DJ Kone & Marc Palacios is an excellent euphoric energetic driving tech house version with tribal techy grooves, funky basslines, acid overtones,  great percussion and excellent application of the original  vocals. If you like  your track to be sunny, happy and smiling with Ibiza summery rhythm don't miss this version. Last but not least Heinrich Matis presents his deep house version with fat throbbing basslines and dark atmosphere. The vocal is pitched down and the whole production manage to engage you easily and invite you to dance a long! #PureGold remixes Love IT
