Halfway House return on Ferry Corsten's Flashover Progressive House record label with their mainstage banger Animus. Once again they prove how talented they are with super solid beats, super tight and aggressive basslines, melodic euphoric synths, cool mindblowing percussion and excellent arrangement that keeps you hooked and interested during its short duration, just 4 minutes but with so much happening to it that you feel that lasts for a lot longer. The short duration of the majority of festival house tracks is a testament of what the festival crowd demands. Definitely they don't like tracks with long parts and they need instant and constant gratification to keep them attracted and totally lost in music. Animus meets exactly that demand of the crowd to listen as many tracks as possible within the 2 hours dj set. Powerful to the maximum with raw and dominating basslines, pumping bouncy to the extreme beats and fantastic sound effects that give you the impression when you jump along that you drive the super fast turbo style cars! Fantastic stuff! Love it
