Soon before the release of his first album ('Tehran Echoes') on Abora, Iranian producer Farhad Mahdavi officially reveals his first single off the album. It's called “A Thousand Pieces” and is a collaboration with the amazing vocalist Tiff Lacey.
“A Thousand Pieces” is a wonderful uplifting creation, supplemented by an emotional orchestral breakdown and enriched by astonishing and often-dark but often-uplifting vocals from Tiff Lacey in order to take you to a magical moment where your ideas are unconsciously absorbed through your mind. All you need is to close your eyes and let your mind join the experiment by itself.
For those who would like to focus on just the wonderful uplifting instrumentals without the lyrics, the release provides a dub mix, which removes all the lyrics but does keep parts of the atmospheric vocals.
The release also includes a radio edit.
More tracks from the album are coming soon, so be sure not to miss them, and keep and eye on this serious talent.
Dimitri Kechagias review: Abora recordings has proved through the years that is a very accountable force in the trance scene. The latest release comes from the hands of the upcoming and quickly rising to the top Farhad Mahdavi in collaboration with the lady of trance Tiff Lacey and is called One Thousand Pieces. The Original vocal mix is a brilliant straight forward uplifting trancer that follows the rules and conventions of the uplifting trance genre with tough driving bassines, pumping bouncy kicks and emotional melodic themes that will touch your heart for sure. The breakdown is the moment that the lovely Tiff comes in and her voice transform our life straight away. Her performance is so heartfelt and fragile that you simply feel emotionally attached to her. Her voice also on some moments has a certain exotic Middle East colour as well that sounds incredibly ethereal. Fantastic melancholic piano, orchestral strings, luscious melodies and Tiff Lacey as the cherry on the top of this tasty trance cake. The climax is full one euphoric and hands in the air in the most classic, pure and honest direction. The composition is awesome and i love the fact that you can actually listen clearly the vocals cause on some tracks because of the bad mixdown you don't hear them clearly. The Dub mix is the finest version to enjoy the exceptional music painting without the destruction of the voice but I believe that her voice is organic part of the track! #PureGold Love it
