REVIEW: Dankann - Freefall out on IHU records / Armada Music

Long-time studio partner of Antillas, Dankann can clearly bust out fiery grooves all on his own.

The filthy lead synth may just have you feeling like you jumped out of a plane without a parachute, and yes, the rush is that intense.

The important part is to try not to think about landing – instead, simply enjoy the ‘Freefall’ for as long as it lasts.

Dimitri Kechagias review:  IHU records headed by dj Antillas from Italy presents the return of Dankann with his powerbanger Freefall. The Italian mastermind of unforgettable club smashers deliver something extraordinary and certainly above the usual so called EDM tracks. The years of knowledge and hours of hard work in the studio are evident on any soundlayer that is added on this super special production. Freefall starts all chunky and dirty with the fantastic pulsating bassline driving fast towards the first intro breakdown. The little electronic style melodies appear to add warmth and sweetness but very soon after the cool vocal sample the manic drop enters the proceedings and I can tell you that is so aggressive and raw that you should be thankful if your loudspeaker can handle so much energy. Its one of these cases that you should treat the track with extra caution and you should better let the music control every part of your body. The main breakdown reveals the awesome euphoric synthy stabs that lead us on the full on euphoric section that sounds like breathe of fresh air but very soon the cracking wonky rock edged razor sharp drop hits hard to the stomach! Of course you should train a lot in the gym cause when you jump along with so fat and manic monster size basslines there is no return I'm afraid if you are overweight and heart attack can occur. It's tailor made for mainstage festivals dj sets from prog house to big room trance! Freefall means relentless waves of energy and adrenaline to the top! It's a Bomb! Love it
