REVIEW: Daniel Allen- Delorean EP out on Blu Fin records

Akin to the mysterious sea anemone, Daniel Allen's sensibilities stretch from deep in the underground straight up to the surface. Since his breakthrough in '89, he's had his tentacles in everything -- 80s, drum & bass, house, techno, and all fusions thereof -- giving his DJ sets a riveting, tactile quality. Over the years, his meticulous production has garnered the likesof labels Uniform Recordings, NOICE!, Planet East Records, Nightshade Music, Harmonious Discord, and most recently, he’s caught the attention of BluFin and iconic Bush Records. When he's not flipping peanut butter pancakes in the studio, the ubiquitous Daniel Allen can be found alongside his VAGABOND crew at Plush, Austin's music-deviant Red River venue.

We are more than proud to welcome Daniel Allen to our BluFin Family :)
by the way, thx Harry ;) and of course Daniel to join us

Listen and enjoy ...

Dimitri Kechagias review: The always on the edge of creativity and originality techno imprint BluFin presents two top tracks by the USA based producer & dj Daniel Allen. His Delorean EP will definitely satisfy those who search for eclectic compositions that crossover between techno and house in the most danceable way. Delorean is an interesting deep tech house groover with funky edges and great drum programming that despite its very minimal composition manage to magnetise the audience and hook them with its very infectious groove on the dancefloor. Frozen on the other hand  is more upfront than Delorean with addition of some cool dark slightly distorted cold synthy melodies and very funky crunchy basslines. If you like the deep, the dark, the funky edgy tech house don't miss it!Love iT
