The exceptional eclectic deep techno project Fanatico deliver for Blu Fin the Remix Album "Dazed and Remixed" this summer incl. the likes of Kink, Citizen Kain, Martin Eyerer, M.in, Lady Blacktronika, Hans Nieswandt, Jack The Box and many more.
Fanatico are Mathias Schaffhäuser and Jorge Socarrás. Dedicated to exploring and restructuring different realms of interplay between sound, rhythm and melody, Fanatico sees no limits to their musical adventure.
Fanatico evolved as a duo after Mathias Schaffhäuser remixed a track from Jorge Socarras’ vintage “Catholic” album. Schaffhäuser had never met Socarras, but was also a fan of the singer’s 80’s band Indoor Life, and suggested that perhaps they could collaborate sometime. Before long, Socarras was in Köln recording with Schaffhäuser in his studio. The duo found that they had a chemistry perfectly suited to musical playfulness in a spectrum of different styles. Ranging from electronica to experimental, this first album comprise a diverse selection of cover songs as well as new original material. Dazed & Remixed album coming this summer!
