This time York collaborates with the well known project Deep Voices and the vocalist Alexander Klaus.
Deep Voices was founded 2004 by the German producer Steve Baltes and Jason Dyloot of San Francisco.
The already delivered 3 Studioalbums, their latest “More Than Air” was released in 2009 on Cloud 9 Music, which belongs to Armada Music. In 2009 they made on Paul Van Dyk’ s Vandit Records quite some buzz with their release “Distant Destiny” and various releases on Skills Recordings and Adjusted Music.
Together with Alexander Klaus, who also delivered vocals for British Star Dj Lange, they created a Goosebump guaranteed smooth trancetrack with a rather housy beat.
The Robert Nickson Remix is a fantastic spherical remix that plays with deep detuned basslines and York’s typical signature guitars. We are sure you will enjoy this newest Planet Love release.
Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the most historic trance record labels is Planet Love headed by the very talented producer Torsten Stenzel responsible for many trance anthems along with Dj Taucher or dj Sakin & Friends that still are played and the crowd seems to appreciate them and demand to hear them on any I love the 90's style party or the classics stage on top festivals like Nature One. I consider Torsten Stenzel as one of the most important figures in the development of electronic dance music and particularly trance. Actually he is on the same level of importance like Jean Michel Jarre and Vangelis. His project York along with his brother continues on Planet Love to offer us amazing tracks always in collaboration with younger or established artists. The latest release is York's collaboration with the brilliant Deep Voices and the vocalist Alexander Klaus. The package includes two exceptional remixes that definitely deserve some space in your collection. The stunning York meets Deep Voices Club mix is a beautiful balearic progressive trancer with that club house groove that will carry you away to faraway places, sunny beaches and exotic seashores. The basslines are deep and haunting while the emotional melodies are added slowly as we reach the first long atmospheric breakdown. It starts with spacey sounds and the vocal stays at the background quite cold and distanced. As the beat comes back the vocal comes as well and the brilliant latin inspired rhythm carry our soul away and the body follows too. You can not resists the incredible erotic groove and you wish simple to left alone and dance along. The second breakdown is the moment that the York trademark guitar melody comes in and is impossible not to feel shivers all over your body when this lovely melody comes in. The track finishes with all the elements coming together in harmony to create the hypnotic high class result. Second remix comes from the hands of Robert Nickson who is responsible for many trance classics on Armada Music. His remix will appeal to Coldharbour recordings followers and continues the deep sensitive emotional vibes and take us on board for a mysterious, dark and highly evocative journey. The basslines are brooding and deep while the melodic elements are adding warmth and the needed sunny summery feeling that is radiated all over the place. His breakdown is pure class with the beloved York balearic guitar theme while on top the distorted synths play the original theme in much more melancholic tone. It's moody, enigmatic and highly attractive for the ear remix that you will wish to last for more than 8 minutes that is the actual length! #PureGold Love it
