Dimitri Kechagias review: Damaged records is the top record label headed by Jordan Suckley who is rocking the international dancefloors with his explosive sets. As it seems he has amazing ear as A&R for his label Damaged records and he has the ability to find the right gems to bring panic on the dancefloor without doubts. The latest magnificent release comes from the brilliant X-Genic from Argentina. With top releases on Perfecto records and many other top labels they consider to be one of the most happening trance dj & production duos at the moment. Paul van Dyk in his latest VONYC sessions episode has supported both Ignition and X-Genic forthcoming remix on HELP by Jordan & Paul Webster. Ignition on the original mix is a hard banging tech trancer with many twists and turns to keep it rather interesting and absorb your attention. The breakdown is really emotional with piano melodies, break beats, warm strings, heavenly style voices and massive euphoric synthy lead that comes slowly to the surface and will cause mayhem and mass destruction ready for revolt on the dancefloor. The build up towards the climax is so intense that you feel on the edge and in danger too for your hearing maybe but this track is meant to be played loud. The climax starts techy and punchy but very soon the uplifting synths appear again for the final euphoric sequence. Second top version included is the Dark mix and you guessed it super right that we deal here with a totally different monster. Powerful and energetic to the maximum with fat drums and exceptional groove and so engaging rhythm that you feel ignite to dance and jump at the same time. Upon the heavy sharp basslines they add some nice little synths that mellow down the proceedings while the breakdown is more dubstep influenced. The climax is like on the original full on fire that will burn the floors and the climax is bass focused tech trance without any melodic euphoric hint. Hard Trance to Bring Mayhem Guaranteed. Love iT
