The Belgian Stereo Express joins forces with AKA AKA & Thalstroem as well as vocalist Timmy Shimmy to increase the anticipation of the long-player with the first single „When I’m With You“.
Together they create a wonderful house gem that is initially driven by strings and claps, before the crystal clear guitar will be flanked by a grooving bass line. The saxophonist is both the studio mate of Stereo Express as well as his partner in crime during their live gigs. The original mix is an exceptional production with techy crunchy drums, deep brooding basslines, excellent live like percussion, rock guitar riffs and simple but very original synthy melodies while on top the absolute star is Shimmy Timmy with his great vocal that has that retro romantic touch on it. If you love the warm and tender analogue like sound this track is right at your door. Oliver Schories Remix is a deeper moodier dark version with slightly pitched down vocal samples and cinematic atmosphere with hypnotic dreamy feel. Very danceable with irresistible rhythm that make you think of late night excursions at the dirtiest sleaziest sides of your city. Sakso remix is an excellent chill out / lounge style version that utilise the vocal along with break beats, superb percussion, the fantastic vocals and the brilliant saxophone loop that will make you turn your head and say "what's that?"
