REVIEW: Kam Delight - Whatever You Like out on Mondo records

Newcomer Kam Delight serves up his first of many on Mondo with a delightfully flavorsome offering entitled ‘Whatever You Like’.

With its quirky vocal effects, raucous bassline and cool, laid back percussion, it’s the perfect recipe for a fine dollop of progressive trance. The breakdown is a particular favourite in the Mondo office; we can’t get enough of this perfectly executed drop.

On the flip we welcome another fresh face in the form of Make One. Taking things a little darker yet keeping the dynamism he delivers a blistering remix packed full of super funked up basslines, sublime energetic grooves and peak time goodness. Massive!

Dimitri Kechagias review: On the top record label Mondo records headed by the legend Darren Tate you dont expect nothing less than high quality releases. Kam Delight comes to delight our senses with his fantastic modern progressive trance beauty Whatever You Like. The original mix is a gifted neo-trancer with chunky groovy beats, electro infused basslines and playful composition that keep us interested from the first till the last minute. The breakdown is blissful and gives us shivers with the fantastic piano riff that is repeated again and again along with the heavenly female voices on top. The climax is straight to the point hands in the air euphoric prog trancer with huge synthy stabs and rhythm that you can not afford not to dance along and shake your body. It smells Ibiza for sure. Make One remix remains on the same neo progressive trance sound with harder tougher groove, electro influences and fantastic longer breakdown with the romantic piano melody, the airy pads and dubstep sequence working like a treat to build anticipation and relieve the pain on the massive full on hands in the air euphoric trance climax. If you play modern prog trance vibes with melodies that stuck in your mind and touch a chord in your soul this release is a must have!  Love iT
