Ukrainian artist Sergey Gagauz is certainly a rising star on the progressive sky, delivering quality progressive trance track after track. Since his 2012 debut he has been developing his sound into a unique blend of dynamic beats and deep expressive melodies, gaining some major air play on shows such as Global DJ Broadcast. His newest track "Voyager" is an exemplary combination of dark progressive drive and intense melodies. The main theme plays throughout the track with masterful variation and development, accompanied by a perfect arrangement of beautiful side motifs.

High quality releases on Echelon that always have interesting tracks to bring to the forefront of the trance scene. Gagauz with his track Voyager service an exceptional big room progressive trancer that absorbs the interest of the listener straight away and is pretty impossible not to feel part of the great action. Travelling driving trancer with techy groovy beats, energetic basslines and emotional synths that lead us nicely on the long atmospheric breakdown that starts quite calm and relaxing but very soon the huge rave style synthy lead is unleashed to bring excitement and build up the tension to the maximum. The climax is deeply emotional and euphoric but in a very subtle way as the main melodic theme has epic feel, certain sadness and depth rather than being super fluffy and overtly happy!
