UK-based Distinctive Records is dropping on May the 5th ‘I Know’ from Christian Fischer and Hybrid featuring remixes from B-Pitch Control’s Chaim and KD Music’s own Duo Kaiserdisco.
'I Know' fuses a sample from a Hybrid track featuring Julee Cruise with a musical backing from one of the most prolific techno and progressive DJs of the past 20 years, Christian Fischer. The release is backed up with 2 unique remixes from Chaim, previously out on James Holden’s B-Pitch Control and Supplement Facts and from Get Physical and Drumcode’s Kaiserdisco.
Dimitri Kechagias review: Distinctive records delivers the brand new remixes of the superb Christian Fischer vs. Hybrid classic I Know that appeared on Christian's own label Definition records. Chaim remix is what we can call as modern electronic style with techno, techno house and even progressive elements as well. Dark deep haunting bass, techy crunchy sparkling beat while the vocal is used in really distanced slightly distorted fashion in the background and sounds more like a tapestry element on the track rather than being an integral part of it. The emotional strings are added as well to excite the crowd and keep them hypnotised dancing on the floor! If you search for more deep tribal tech house version Kaiserdisco will surprise you with their playful remix and their very distinctive groove that stands out on any soundsystem that will be played this summer loud and proud. The vocal is used in the atmospheric intro and really sets the scene of what is going to come next.
