The impressive Moshic is back at Bonzai Progressive with his equally impressive new cut entitled 'Do It To Me Now'. Moshic's unique sound is well renowned the world over and he continues to deliver top quality with all that he touches. This new track has been given the remix treatment by three of Bonzai's popular artists which will definitely help get this track noticed.
The Original Mix intros with a very cool sequence filled with tight hats and percussions with a teasing bass whetting the appetite. Subtle kicks sit back and let the array of sounds do all the work. A rising pad creates an intensity throughout as the groove takes on a gritty feel with the vocal coming through brilliantly. The bass continues to bubble up from below adding a very smooth texture, another fine progressive vibe from Moshic!
Italian producer Gai Barone delivers two stunning remixes on this pack, the first one being his Starsk Remix. The intro boasts a strong and intense drone with chunky kicks and sharp hats building around it as well as some smooth plucked strings. The synths bring in a little melody to the groove while retaining a dark atmosphere. The break unleashes more of those plucks with some heavy FX adding to the already fierce groove, superb stuff from Gai!
Gai's second offering here is his On A Train Remix which gets us moving with a strong kick with a nice clip on top. Powerfully deep pads rise up giving a real progressive edge to the sound while all around some fantastic percussion takes shape. A strong piercing vibe ensues as expertly crafted FX go to work, all this is shored up with a wonderful deep bass that sits perfectly in the background. Simply stunning and no doubt will gain much attention.
One of Bonzai's longstanding popular artists Manu Riga takes up remix duties with his Progtrip Remix. Manu is a firm favourite within the progressive realm not only with his own outstanding productions but also for his remix work which always gets plenty of recognition. Here he intros with a brilliant thumping kick with a rolling effect underneath. A resonating bass lingers in the depths waiting to pounce. Tight percussions begin to form rhythmic patterns while a synth pad begins to rise. The bassline evolves beautifully into a proper full on progressive workout as it rolls along in curvy patterns that will have any floor rocking. Plenty of twists and turn on offer here and a track that is not to be missed.
Audio Noir is popping up all over the place at the moment with remixes on many tracks as well as his own material doing the rounds. Here he delivers a stunning remix in his unique progressive way. Very smooth and classic intro with a powerful kick and skipping hats getting us under way. Deep droning basses rise up building the tension before the track breaks with a beautiful vocal over those heavy pads. The track crashes back with those kicks but this time accompanied by an amazing hypnotic bass that pounds the speakers. A superb remix out of Australia which will be a must for any set and most definitely not to be missed!
Dimitri Kechagias review: The legendary record label Bonzai Progressive presents the latest anthem from the hands of Moshic. Its called Do It To Me Now and is a wonderful progressive house smasher that has excellent mysterious atmosphere with great percussion, deep haunting basslines, tough kicks and tribal drums and dark synths. Its one of those mysterious tracks that have many levels of interpretation and you will trip out to another dimension straight way. The Italian maestro Gai Barone provides two magnificent remixes that have his established signature sound. Gai Barone's Starsk Remix is the superb deep progressive moody version that can be played in trance and house sets as well. Superb tribal beats, bubbly basslines and exceptional cinematic atmosphere that energise your mind, body and soul. The dark industrial melodramatic synthy leads are used in the finest way and is impossible not to feel mesmerised and lost in his stunning soundscapes. It's like going through a dark tunnel that is full of mirrors and on them you can foresee your own future. His On The Train remix has even deeper minimal approach focused on the basics with sound effects that trigger your imagination, melodies that haunt you, crawl under your skin, touch your heart and is impossible to forget them easily. Quality from the very start till its last second. Manu Riga remix continues on the same deep progressive house direction with excellent breaks part in the breakdown and fantastic organic percussion that sounds really impressive that it has that Middle East flavour! Audio Noir service what I call as classic progressive house sound. Driving and energetic, emotional and mysterious, surprising and playful with additional melodic layers and vocal samples to intensify even more your sonic experience. Super package, Highly Recommended. Love IT
