REVIEW: Moritz Ochsenbauer & Jakob Reiter - Metroland incl. Fanatico Remixes out on Yellow Tail

The name Moritz Ochsenbauer primarily stands for what today would be described as old school.

It's about friendship, honesty, and the goal of realising something.
So it is even today, always being reinvented, developed and
looking forward to create something new.

After a long partner- and friendship between Moritz, BluFin and Yellow Tail, after a really unexpected sucess with „Fuck Face“ in 2011 ...or’Move Your Hips Fly’ later on, Moritz is back here with Metrodance, for this EP he got together with Jakob Reiter .

Maybe you remeber the Remix from this both for Fanatico – Dancing Days. So no wonder that the remix for Metroland comes from Fanatico aka Mathias Schaffhäuser & Jorge Socarrás ...

All at once –keep on dancing and welcome back Moritz

Dimitri Kechagias review: Yellow Tail is all about good quality deep house and techno music with substance. Moritz Ochsenbauer & Jakob Reiter present their latest EP including the awesome tunes  Metroland & Want. Metroland is the leading track here and this choice is for a reason. The track is wonderful tripping tech house adventure to the mysterious place that is Metroland. The melody is very catchy and the various cinematic melodramatic strings create that very exotic soundscape that straight away transfer your mind, body and soul to another world. Its like an emotional inspiring ride that is produced with simple back to basics elements and despite being polished and clean cut sounds really underground and artistic as well. Want is the 2nd original track that will expand your mind and uplift your body and soul. It's more uplifting with summery melody and irresistible groove. I can only imagine myself with my headphones walking in a sunny place and listening this awesome feel good positive track. The beloved duo Fanatico are on board as well. Their take on Metroland is an even deeper tech house version with superb minimal techy chunky beats, cool jazzy infused basslines and great dark strings and rock guitar riffs along with the whispering inviting vocals that work really well within this very moody and so inspiring environment. The new vocals with top lyrics elevate the track to the next level and sound to me like the 2014 equal of Lou Reed  with his seminal anthem Walk on The Wild Side. Fanatico never disappoint and always find new interesting angles to reinvent rather than just remixing the track! Quality release not to be missed. LoveIT
