‘I Will Rise’ is a collaboration between Newcastle based DJ Luke Terry and songstress Silkskin. An uplifting trancer, to which the vocals of Silkskin fit perfectly.
Luke Terry has been on the scene for a while, releasing music on various labels such as Armada, Vandit, Sony, Mondo and now In Trance We Trust. His tracks and remixes gain support from DJ’s all over the world and he has played alongside Ferry Corsten, Paul van Dyk and more. Luke is the host of his own radio show called Warning Contains Trance, in partnership with his own record label Unearthed Records. A busy guy!
Dimitri Kechagias review: Luke Terry can be easily named as one of the finest trance producers of all times. He has the ability to compose super strong melodies that can keep you breathless on the dancefloor with a wide ecstatic smile in your face. His latest groovy progressive meets uplifting trance superb anthem is called I Will Rise and is not an instrumental trancer. Rather the beloved Luke Terry goes for the vocal trance direction and he does it perfectly. On vocal duties is the brilliant singer Silkskin. Her voice is really emotional and very delicate performing in her own really deep, a little bit dark and melancholic heartfelt way the superb lyrics that will learn by heart to sing back to the trance jock who will play this exceptional and soon to become a favourite to many vocal trancer. Great production with electro inspired groove and cinematic atmospheric strings. The uplifting chords drive the track to the breakdown with the piano theme calming the senses for a while to support Silkskin incredible voice. Very soon the main euphoric synth leads added to recall great trance classics from the early 2000. The trembling drum roll will excite the crowd and the uplifting part is coming in to bring the track to the climax that really deserves and will drive ballistic the pure trance posse! #PureGold Love iT
