REVIEW: David Guetta & Showtek feat Vassy - Bad out on Jack Back / Parlophone / Warner

Following up the unparalleled successes of recent club tracks ‘Shot Me Down’ and his rework of Avicii’s ‘Addicted To You’, tracks that both charted #1 at Beatport in their first respective weeks, David Guetta has teamed up with enigmatic producer duo Showtek on storming new single ‘Bad’.

Being released  March 17th, ‘Bad’ follows the lead of ‘Shot Me Down’ perfectly; purpose built for the clubs and awash with the trademark energy their fans love, both Guetta and Showtek showcase their surefire dance floor credentials to the fullest. Building with textbook rhythms and lush synths, it erupts into life amidst a flurry of infectious vocal samples, as a charging lead bassline carries the track firmly into the clubs. Defined by a series of shattering crescendos, ‘Bad’ bears all the hallmarks of a classic in the making and confirms their status as two of the world’s hottest dance music acts.

Having already confirmed to play Ultra Music Festival in Miami, as well as securing a coveted new residency in Las Vegas, 2014 is already shaping up to be another landmark year for David Guetta.

Dimitri Kechagias review: After his massive record Shot Me Down is time for another David Guetta monster anthem this time co-produced with the Dutch power force duo Showtek while the strange stretched vocals belong to Vassy. It's called BAD and is going to turn you into a really BAD naughty nasty girl and boy on the dancefloor.  The track itself is one of those records that makes you wanna stop whatever you are doing and start dancing a long with it without loosing time or missing a single beat. It's super catchy and very infectious so you will hit the repeat button many times without delay. IT will manage easily to blow your mind with its heavy drumbeats, ultra rough hardstyle basslines, cool synths and airy pads in the breakdown while the euphoric synths will push your adrenaline level to its limits. Vassy's vocals are distorted slightly and I guess is happening because the track is meant to be funny and for party hard times. At those very moments you want to have a good laugh as well and Vassy's super strange vocals give you wide smile in your face. When David Guetta & Showtek get together the result can only be super good! But enough to sweet and nice people, lets go for some minutes BAD! Love iT
