REVIEW: Alan Crown - Sparta out on IHU records / Armada Music

1-Sparta (Original mix)

This… is… SPARTA!  The movie may have ruined the word for us forever, but Alan Crown is breathing new life into the term.  With all the intensity of an ancient Homeric battle, this destructive new tune rages into the unknown.

Haunting, cavernous ambience meets earth-shaking bass — all in a day’s work for Alan Crown.

Dimitri Kechagias review: One of those labels that stand out at this moment with their unique releases is IHU records headed by the Italian master of EDM Antillas. The brand new banger is called Sparta and is produced by Alan Crown. The title definitely prepares you for something extremely large and when your favourite radio dj announce it in the radio show you expect to hear something super HUGE and extra dynamic. Sparta is everything you expect from it and even more than that. Tough galaxy moving drum beats and aggressive punchy in your face basslines that bite like a dangerous poisonous snake with epic strings is the main solid foundation of this soon to become an anthem. Cinematic long breakdown is what you get in the middle of it that easily transfer you to the set of your favourite Hollywood blockbuster and make you feel like being part of the action. Chorus like heavenly voices and synthy lines that build nicely the excitement until the distorted synthy lead to come to the surface and cause mayhem for sure. The drop is so intense, maddening, booming and powerful  that will be difficult to believe your own ears. While you dance along you can imagine yourself as the hero of the movie that thousands of crazy alien monsters are attacking  but because you are trained and well muscled you are the winner of course. Massive indeed! #PureGold Love IT
