REVIEW: Sebastian Brandt - Overture out on Subculture

These days there are few names we can rely on for quality uplifting trance. Sebastian Brandt, thankfully, is one of those names you can rely on. Having been locked into the trance hierarchy for several years now, Sebastian has groomed himself an impeccable reputation when it comes to output.

We are delighted to welcome him to the Subculture stable!

‘Overture’ just reeks of quality. High tempo bass arps combined with classy psy intro synths, leading up to a smooth breakdown with a riff all Brandt lovers will love.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Subculture is considered as the powerforce behind the resurrection of true uplifting underground trance. If you search for that very special track that will fire a sparkle in your heart and keep your hands raised in the sky better check out Sebastian Brandt's latest trance anthem Overture. The Swedish trance god presents his massive return to pure uplifting trance awesomeness with his stunning track that has the tough rocking beats, the heavy aggressive rough edged basslines and the epic synthy stabs that keep you energised pumping and bouncing around. Its quite dark and moody foundation actually brings to my mind the classic hard trance sound. The breakdown is exceptional with cinematic atmosphere and cool spoken vocal sample and heavenly style voices in the background building nicely the whole mysterious mood. The warm strings are combined perfectly with the epic euphoric rave style synthy lead that demands attention and will drive us nicely in the pure hands in the air euphoric uplifting  climax that will bring wide and happy smiles on your face. #PureGold! Love iT
