A welcome addition to the Coldharbour family over the past 12 months, Purple Stories are back in action with a devastating anthem in the form of Pandorum. The Polish duo, comprising of Leszek Stachowiak and Jacek Czeszak, contributed outstandingly to Markus Schulz's sets among others in recent times, with tracks such as Black Warrior, Locust and Praia Da Adraga on heavy rotation.
With Pandorum, the aggression levels get turned up further, with a powerful melody intertwined between raw riffs. Already a highlight of Global DJ Broadcast World Tour stops in Chicago, Goa and Transmission in Prague, demand is high to spread its effectiveness to the masses.
As the first wave of festivals dawn upon us, Pandorum will be a prevalent fixture.
Dimitri Kechagias review: Coldharbour recordings is one of the hottest record labels with thousands of followers worldwide. The label stands for high quality dark moody progressive trance and doesn't deviate from this rule not even for a while. The brand new stand out track that is going to rule the clubfloors is coming from the studio of Purple Stories from Poland. Their brand new anthem is called Pandorum and is loud and powerful as its massive title. Its certainly more than one style as it combines influences from big room, progressive, tech trance and even some hardstyle in it. Its dark, sinister, haunting with meaty mechanical techy beat, pulsating energetic bassline and in the breakdown they reveal the anthemic hands in the air straight to the point rave style synthy lead that drives the track as wild and outrageous as possible to the climax with aggressive sharp and deadly bassline upon the very cold and distant beat that will dominate the trancefloors worldwide. Its one of those tracks that beat by beat adds new sound layers and the tension is raised at the higher level. Of course don't forget that those tracks are best tested on big loud systems and not home stereos and low quality PC speakers. Its absolutely Massive! Love iT
