Ukrainian DJ & producer Dart Rayne and Egyptian duo Demara are kicking of 2014 with their turbocharged new single 'Turbine.' Out February 10 on Garuda Music, 'Turbine' is now available for pre-order on iTunes.
The follow-up to Rayne's popular 2013 track 'Human Weapon,' a heavy-hitting progressive house smash played by Gareth Emery at almost every set post its release and named one of his top tunes of the year, 'Turbine' follows a similar style, perfectly complimenting its predecessor.
The lineage of 'Turbine' is made obvious on first listen, with a similarly epic, drawn out build of moaning, organ-driven synths and driving bassline, and a melody that's befitting of the progressive Garuda sound. Much like 'Human Weapon,' when the drop hits you can't help but throw your hands in the air enthusiastically and let 'Turbine' blow you away.
Dimitri Kechagias review: The outstanding record Garuda Music is not easy to predict. Its one of those labels that goes against the grain and always surprise its followers. The next release on the top label comes from the hands of Dart Rayne & Demara who combine their creative forces to deliver the absolutely mouthwatering Turbine. Its the kind of track that moves and bounce your body hard without any hesitations and obligations too. It starts with short intro of heavy kicks until to land on the fantastic first breakdown. The huge synthy lead is unleashed slowly and in short parts until to listen to it in full upon the heavy beats, rough and punchy basslines. The track is packed with clever twists and turns, stop and goes effects that always keep interested the clubbers. The longer second breakdown is playful by building anticipation and excitement with rave style distorted synthy leads and even hoover style sounds. The climax is sharper, groovy and funky in EDM festival house style way though. Its one of those tracks that genres loose their meaning and don't function anymore. It can be prog house or it can be big room trance, it can be everything and anything. The sure thing is that is club bomb guaranteed that will raise Dart Rayne & Demara profile even higher. Love iT.
