California based Ari Kyle has some nice support recently with his releases on labels such as Alter Ego. His playlist collection includes the likes of Dash Berlin, Paul Van Dyk, Andy Moor, Cosmic Gate, Paul Oakenfold and Roger Shah. Roger has been that fascinated by Ari's talent that he signed him straight away during a studio showreel session at San Francisco's famous Pyramind studios. The first release is a collaboration with Moroccan artist Koka. The single is called "Rule" and is an up to date sounding trancer with techy influenced basslines paired with nice atmospheric elements. Not to forget it's emotional breakdown with a great guitar line that turns into a catchy strings driven melody that works both in smaller venues as well as on bigger festivals!
Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the most consistent record labels is of course Magic Island records that is headed by the superstar dj Roger Shah. The latest release comes from the hands of Ari Kyle vs Koka who service the magnificent melodic progressive trancer Rule that has the balearic vibe that we usually expect to get on this label and fits the bill perfectly. Chunky groovy techy beats, punchy electro infused basslines and sunny melodies on top. The breakdown is the moment that the summery feel good mesmerising melodies are unleashed along with the beautiful guitar riff that will definitely transfer you to the nearest sunny beach for a relaxing seashore party with your favourite tropical fruit punch in your hands. It smells exotic sunbath oil and you can even hear the crashing sea waves as well that's for sure. The chopped female vocals are magical and add emotional sensitive human touches. All the elements build the magnificent soundscape that will be hard to resist. You can close your eyes and let the sounds create thousands of mental images in your mind. The climax of the track is energetic, driving and playful with the distorted synthy lead on top of the quite rough foundation that is perfect for big room sets. Balearic energetic danceable trance meets house meets electro anthem at its very best. Love iT
