REVIEW: Adam Ellis - Velocity In French out on Monster Digital

Trance sensation Adam Ellis finally joins us on Monster Tunes for what can only be described as a belter of a tune! Literally needing no introduction, Adam catapulted himself onto the scene at the back end of last year with the epic ‘Napalm Poet’, which hit No.1 on Beatport and got caned by every trance jock out there. 2014 began just as good, with follow up track ‘Manderine’ also hitting the top of the Beatport trance pile! There’s simply no stopping this new trance juggernaut…..

‘Velocity In French’ is a powerhouse uplifting trancer that smacks with bite and vigor! With a pounding percussion section, pulsating bassline & sleek fx cuts, the production is fierce from bar 1. Classic ‘van Dyk’ style chord plucks join the frenzy to signify an uplifting edge, soon backed up by expertly placed female vocal adlibs. The main hook is another energetic gem and the beefy electro bassline after the drop will leave any discerning trance lover wanting more!

À toute vitesse avec Monster Tunes!

Dimitri Kechagias review: I met Adam Ellis  in his first debut in the Netherlands at Luminosity Trance Gathering. We did an excellent interview together and I understood  that Adam has a very clear vision and is extremely focused on what he wants to achieve. I loved the fact that in his performance he was wearing Monster Tunes t-shirt that I must say look actually really nice. Now Adam Ellis lands with his spaceship on planet Monster Digital and he service the magnificent uplifting hard tech trancer Velocity in French. Better wear your space suit and come on board for an unforgettable trance journey. Tough drum beats, heavy driving basslines and euphoric uplifting synths that will hook you instantly and win your attention span. The feel good "Vandit" style melody adds that summery sunny feel to the track. The breakdown is long with great atmosphere and the amazing well known vocal sample that has been used on other tracks as well. Very soon the energetic uplifting synths are unleashed to create heavy damage and build the excitement and adrenaline levels to the maximum. The climax starts with a rough aggressive bass focused tech trance sequence that will satisfy those who like it rough and raw. The final small breakdown is used to reappear the female vocal and the final melodic uplifting sequence that follows the rules and conventions of the straight forward uplifting trance genre. Quality trance anthem from Adam Ellis who delivers tune after tune and he manages very easily and quickly to build a loyal following. Highly recommended. Love IT
