Brighton Music Conference is excited to reveal phase 1 of its artist line-up (full details below) for its inaugural event, taking place April 11 & 12, 2014. Whilst the conference is focused primarily on business, education and music technology during the day; at night, attendees and clubbers will be able to lose themselves fully to some of the scene’s most respected underground DJs and artists.
BMC’s Phase 1 line-up of showcases includes esteemed underground labels / club nights Wiggle, Berlin’s Mobilee Records, British labels J00F, Black Rock Records, and SKINT, and pioneering London techno promoters LOST. The club nights will take place across venues in Brighton.
BMC’s parties will serve as the perfect compliment to the conference’s jam packed days of networking and lively business debates, and the exhibition’s inspiring educational seminars and groundbreaking music technology showcases. One of the key highlights of BMC, will be the UK premiere of Roland’s highly anticipated Aira product line. The Aira instruments – still not fully revealed – includes the reimagining of three of electronic music’s most fundamental machines, the Roland TR-808 drum machine, the Roland TR-909 drum machine, and the Roland TB-303 bass line synthesizer. BMC has the exclusive UK showcase of all four Aira products, making BMC the first chance for UK producers and DJs to get hands on with all four of these amazing new instruments live.
Brighton Music Conference is the UK's first annual electronic music focused business conference with prestigious speakers from across the industry, including many respected DJs: Above & Beyond's Jono Grant, Lisa Lashes, DJ Pierre, DJ Spen, Phil Asher and Orbital's Paul Hartnoll, will all speak at BMC.
