Dimitri Kechagias review: Its always very exciting to open the brand new release of Trice Recordings and press play cause you know that the top record label choose something wonderfully eclectic to release with huge remix package as well by Barrientos & Brett Gould. First of all the original mix is a magnificent melodic deep tech house beauty that wins your attention straight away. Its the kind of track that the dj plays it and everybody is whispering around what the title of this track. Superb synths that keep the proceedings really melodic and spacious, deep funky basslines and crunchy beats with great percussion and uplifting old school balearic house pianos combined with the all time classic female vocal that has been sampled million miles within wide variety of music styles and contexts. Its the most appropriate deep melodic track to play in your warm up set and watch the crowd following your footsteps. Barrientos remix is deep tech house version that is quite darker and moody with pitched down vocals and analogue stylish feel. It sounds so 90's with the right retro vibes to take you on the time capsule and return you back in the years with the rave yellow smiling faces. Last but not least the very good Brett Gould is on board as well. His version attempts to translate the track within a much more minimal context.With the dogma that prevails less is better the track attempts to have less sounds and effects in order to create the very spacey erotic and sexually charged version. Brett Gould does his magic with the use of the nice vocals with the added echoes while in the breakdown he introduce darker sinister synthy melody that leads the track in the final section. Hypnotic, blissful, spacey and absolutely mouthwatering production that proves that strong tracks need less rather than overloading them with thousands of effects and presets.
