REVIEW: Dirty Vegas – Let The Night incl remixes & music video out on D:Vision

Steve Smith and Paul Harris are well versed in the world of electronic music creating Dirty Vegas over 10 years ago and are ready for the next step in the bands evolution. Continuing a legacy of excellence in a career that has garnered innumerable accolades including the pretentious Grammy for Best Electronic Album. Smith and Harris have spent 2013 working on new material, not to chase the trend of "EDM" but because electronic music is in their blood, in their being and soul. The result is their 6th official release; an EP titled Let The Night which will be released on D:Vision Records on January 24th, 2014

Let The Night is an optimistic EP that roughly resembles the semblance of The Chemical Brothers "Swoon" and Moby-like alternative dance elements. The EP a refreshing break from the the oh-so-popular bangers. Let The Night is emotionally alluring yet manages to be compellingly danceable; it's unapologetic electronic music that refuses to adhere to rigid boundaries.

The song glows strapping on a pair of rose-colored glasses for the listener with the lyrics "You should see how good you look right now. Let The Night Follow You". Lead vocalist Steve Smith's smitten vocals serenade the listener on top of a sunny nu-disco groove. Remixes for Let The Night include the hand of Vanilla Ace's who piles on the funk with squiggly synths and a cool bouncing bassline that will take you to the white sandy beaches of Ibiza and back. Additional remixes from Sharam Jey, Betoko and Rivaz round out the encapsulating package.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The very successful Italian powerhouse label D:Vision continues to fuel the EDM community with high class productions like the stunning return of Dirty Vegas. Their brand new single Let The Night is a very strong electro pop dance song with positive synths and the eclectic vocal delivery that touch your soul and talk to your senses.  The track is open to many translations and D:Vision did the best to impress with magnificent remix package. First of all Rivaz remix is the banging booming shaking and grooving festival house version with tough drum beats and aggressive basslines while the breakdown is great with the classic old school piano chords and the massive euphoric synthy leads that drive the track to oblivion. Pure jumping and pumping with hands in the air and wide smile in your face remix that will be played a lot this summer. Mainstage festivals alert so be careful to be on board for this release very soon. The beloved Sharam Jay is  transforming the track into a very groovy tech house version that has that lazy Ibiza late night atmosphere to it. Its the type of track that you put on your virtual turntables and your friends are dancing and shaking along feeling the amazingly good vibes of this gold track. Betoko is well known for his deep funky club anthems and his remix follows his so groovy dirty sleazy sound with feel good percussion, funky playful basslines, little synthy riffs and pitched down vocal samples. Nearly 9 minutes of hypnotic emotional melodic deep house vibes to carry you away in different places and spaces. Last but not least Vanilla Ace brings his amazing mixture of deep tech with disco house influences in a very creative highly infectious sexy package. Its global Anthem & #PureGold. Love IT
