REVIEW: Davey Asprey - Aleion out on Monster Digital

Davey Asprey returns once again to complete a trilogy of mythological productions as he presents another fierce tech laden uplifting trancer. After the successes of ‘Chimera’ and ‘Bellerophon’, with the latter gleaming ‘A State Of Trance’ support, what better way to continue this fine vein of form than with ‘Aleion’.

As with the previous two productions, ‘Aleion’ adheres to Davey’s winning production formula, a rigid percussion section meets throbbing bassline meets some fine tech laced uplifting melodies and you’re onto a winner!

This is no mythology, this is trance at its finest!

Dimitri Kechagias review: The leading uplifting trance label Monster Digital never stops to rock and blow the speakers of the big soundsystems in clubs and festivals. The label that everybody is mentioning as one of their finest deliver the superb Aleion by the beloved and always high class Dave Asprey. Pure Uplifting Trance at its most effective and exceptional is this mindblowing smasher that deserves to get multiple plays on any trance set. Energetic driving basslines, pumping bouncy unstoppable rough beats and hi-nrg synths that manage to carry your spirit away to magical places and unknown spaces perhaps by going back in Mythological times with our time capsule. The production is super solid and tight with clever twists and turns to keep the clubbers interested.  Long breakdown with the synthy lead coming to the surface like the lava from Volcano that is waiting to erupt. The kick comes in and after a crazy distorted squeezed little effect the beat returns to take us on board for a magical uplifting trance ride. Exceptional synths that are so powerful and hair raising that will be hard to stand still even if you are 200 Kg. It manages to pass the chair test graciously and that is to make me dancing in my chair while I was checking it out. This Is What I Call Trance, Love iT
