Trance with a capital 'T' for your likes by mastermind Mike Saint-Jules. All Hail!
Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the big upcoming trance talents is of course Mike Saint-Jules. He has already releases with originals and remixes on the finest labels on planet earth such as In Trance We Trust part of Black Hole. His brand new exceptional EP on the influential trance imprint includes the tracks Final Frontier & Flying Saucer. Both must play immediately type of tracks that djs usually listen in the record shop and they can not wait to go in their weekend gig and perform with them. Better be ready for magnificent tracks that will impress and satisfy you imagination for sure. Firstly is the title track Final Frontier, that is an exceptional piece of big room, mainstage peak time trance anthem. It builds up nicely upon the techy chunky groovy beats and the playful basslines locking you in its irresistible groove. As we know already Mike is great composer when it comes to breakdowns so in this one he does his best to leave us breathless. Very emotional and sensitive piano melody merged with epic strings and luscious melodies. The heavy kicks strike back with the euphoric synths on top for a nice short hands in the sequence followed by a small pause for the full synthy power to get unleashed and energise the clubs and festivals. The moment we all expect finally arrive and we are on board for the huge hands in the air full on euphoria and in your face climax that the hair raising synths play in harmony with the piano melody to make us jump and fly in the seven skies. Second track is the big room tech trancer Flying Saucer. For this track he adopts his rougher and tougher approach with distorted aggressive electrified basslines and tough bouncy techy drum beats and sharp kicks. The rhythm of the track is very danceable so expect the crowd to go ballistic with hands in the air. The breakdown is very cinematic with sci-fi film atmosphere and spacey electronic synths, vocal sample that talks about UFO's and illusions, emotional piano melody and superb build up that lead us fat and bouncy in the massive climax that is dark, haunting and rough to the bone with djs like Markus Schulz appreciating that dark moody style very much. Mike Saint-Jules at its very best, Highly recommended. Love it
