Dimitri Kechagias review: The first label that comes to your mind that never goes wrong in its releases is Always Alive headed by the Danish hero of trance Daniel Kandi. Two mesmerising melodic trancers included on Araya's EP with the solo Perception and the collaboration with Mark Dreamer on Raccoon. Perception is a modern neo progressive trancer with playful electro basslines, pumping danceable groovy beats, chopped ethereal vocal samples and euphoric synthy leads that come together in harmony and build the magnificent travelling track that is packed with melodic goodness and deep emotions. Racoon on the other side is the uplifting trance track with full on driving energetic basslines, rocking bouncy beats and very strong melodic themes. The breakdown reveals first the very nice harp melodies that sound very touching while the cinematic strings create a magical soundscape. The uplifting climax will give you wings to fly high while the melancholic piano chords will help to keep you grounded. Two very solid tracks on another stand out Always Alive showcase in 2013.
