REVIEW: Andy Duguid - On The Edge(Club mix) out on Magik Muzik / Black Hole recordings

1. Club Mix

The original mix of ‘On The Edge’ was ‘an overture exploration into super-string theory. Weaving unconventionally FX’d vocal harmonics into its lustre-filled strings; it’s backed by intricately programmed drum & percussion pulsation.’ Now Andy Duguid has turned the title track of his latest album into a club version.

Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the finest dj & producer from Scotland returns with his Club version of the title track of his very exceptional and stand out album of the year On The Edge. If you appreciate highly inspiring music that can really uplift your spirit and keep your dancefloor warm and energised don't miss this excellent progressive trancer that shines with its glow and magic of course. It starts with nice groovy techy beat and slowly is taking shape into a driving powerful club shaker that will smash the clubfloors for sure. The heavenly chorus style female voices merged with the nice piano riff that is repeated again and again to hypnotise you and bring you in a real state of trance. The breakdown is cinematic with excellent sound design that transfer you to mysterious places and spaces. It will be hard not to feel like flying in the sky for a while. When the beat strikes back  the trancefloor will erupt as the clubbers will let all the inhibitions go and feel free like a feather in the air. With hands in the air and big smile in their faces On The Edge is a real beauty that can easily named as Pure and honest trancer. This Is What I Call Trance! Love iT
