REVIEW: Rene Amesz - Release Yourself out on Floorplay

Rene Amesz returns to Floorplay Music in fine style with another dancefloor killer.

Always in good form, Rene’s music exudes an energy that garners instant praise from DJs and punters alike. “Release Yourself” is no exception, with a big rave sound brimming full of infectious hooks, crunchy beats, stand up vocals stabs, all expertly moulded into one massive house groove.

Rene has been on an incredible run of form with his releases on Floorplay and Toolroom. His remix for Mark Knight & Funkagenda’s version of “Man With The Red Face” ended on the #2 position in the Beatport charts. And his just-released track “Dextro” has also entered the #2 position in the Tech house Beatport Charts this week.

“Release Yourself” has already been supported by Chris Lake /ATFC / Federico Scavo / UMEK / Prok & Fitch / Filthy Rich and My Digital Enemy amongst others.

Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the brightest Dutch exports is of course the magnificent Rene Amesz. The very talented dj & producer always leave us breathless with his top notch productions like the massive Release Yourself. Open to many different influences his latest track is massive house groover with tribal techy groovy beats, funky sexy basslines to keep jacking your body along with it. In the breakdown he reveals a very well known disco house sample used with big success in the past from Armand van Helden. The female house diva vocal  is placed on the right moment to encourage the clubbers to get on the dancefloor and release themeselves without fear and inhibitions. Its very good indeed and sounds perfect for the current deep tech house / disco house revival. Love IT
