Alex Cvetkov comes from the small coastal town of Koper, which lies close to Trieste and Venice, and is one of the youngest ambassadors of “the new Slovenian sound”.
In 2010, he landed a residency at Fetch the Vibe events held at the Ambasada Gavioli club, which made him the youngest resident at one of the most iconic and renowned clubs in Europe. He has released tracks on labels such as Cr2, BluFin, Go Deeva Records and others and performed alongside music’s biggest names like Tiësto, Calvin Harris, Paul Kalkbrenner, Paul van Dyk, Fatboy Slim, Chris Liebing, Mauro Picotto, David Morales and others. In 2012, he was a part of the Amsterdam Dance event where he played with Butch, Ron Caroll, Tom Novy, Gramophondzie and others. Recently, he teamed up with drummer Roman Ratej and bass player Cveto Polak to form an outstanding live act and together the trio offers something new to the Slovenian audience.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The top techno imprint Blu Fin was always away from trends and what it sells and its all about good music from talented artists from around the globe. The brand new EP comes from Slovenia and the very talented and promising Alex Cvetkov. Alegro is an excellent deep dark techno production with metallic throbbing beats, electrified basslines, cinematic atmosphere, vocal samples and spacey feel too. When you dance along with it you have that sense of being somewhere in outspace. Music Is continues on the deep dark techno atmosphere with heavy detroit influences in it. The spoken vocal has a message to send and the whole composition is uber cool and hypnotic to the maximum. Dark and twisted is destined to stand out in your set. Lastly New Dimensions is the more organic tech house track with superb percussion, romantic sweet melodies, vocal samples and cool relaxing summer beach bar atmosphere to it. 3 very strong productions that mesmerise the crowd and keep them moving and shaking on the dancefloor!
