FEATURE: Dj Broadcast launches iPad Magazine free from App store

DJBroadcast, renowned reporter of underground music, news, reviews and features, has expanded the narrative one more time with the launch of their new iPad magazine: DJB Digital 001, available for free from the App Store.

Established in 2002, DJBroadcast has become a respected international publisher on music, art, lifestyle and the communities touched by said mediums. As a print magazine and online outlet, DJBroadcast expands the dialogue of electronic music to encompass new horizons, taking a uniquely angled viewpoint, whilst poking its opinion into the holy edifices of contemporary culture.

DJB Digital 001 takes interactive editorial to a whole new galaxy. Its touch-responsive, flamboyant design is backed with a series of multimedia pieces whilst sound-tracked by some of the freshest talent to emerge from the firm’s native Netherlands.

Hosting new and exclusive features and interviews, DJBroadcast’s iPad magazine is an extension of the exceptional, out of orbit and marginally opinionated content published through it’s online portals. The first edition interviews exciting new Dutch talents, including Palmbomen and Jameszoo, hosts various fashion features, clubbing articles with an in-house produced documentary on Serbia’s Exit Festival and many other documentaries and clips thrown in for good measure.

DJB Digital was co-produced by the firm’s new team of international cadets, stationed out in Berlin. Having opened up the new German office in 2013, the International Editorial team has been integral in expanding the DJBroadcast network outside of their mighty Dutch kingdom, launching the English-speaking version of the platform over at DJBroadcast.net. Here you can find a wider range of topics and features that carry on the work started by DJBroadcast’s Dutch founders; journeying from one musical odyssey to the next.

"DJ Broadcast are showing other magazines where the future is by upping the stakes with their new ipad app, not only do they continue to cover upfront subjects with gusto they entice you further into the story interactively making the old paper format feel decidedly 2 dimensional. Throughly engaging and recommended." — Dave Clarke
