Pet Shop Boys' third single "Thursday" makes the crazy transition from 80s to Euro Dance 90s until today. The song features the singer and rapper Example who was nominated last year for a Brit Award for "Best British Single". His vocals enrich the track and make Thursday an enormously fresh single. Remix treatment by Tensnake and Eddie Amador are instantly legendary. Or what do you think?
Dimitri Kechagias review: The legendary Pet Shop Boys are back with vengeance and amazing singles ready to win your heart once again. Thursday sounds so them with the lovely synthy electro pop touch to it. Example vocal comes nearly at the end and really works well with Niel enigmatic retro 80's performance. The remixes are brilliant with Tensnake first of all taking us for a nice deep tech house journey with chunky groovy beats, deep funky basslines, melodic breakdown and attractive hypnotic sound. From the vocal he just use the part by Example on his second breakdown. Very tasty and so delicius indeed. Eddie Amador injects power and energy to the top track with his progressive house version that has techy and old school house infusions as well. Latin rhythm combined with electrified basslines provide the ultimate party bomb. There are dub versions for the non vocal lovers. Pet Shop Boys & Example as we Loved and Will Love Them.
