Something’s in the air. Carrying the sound of change, a new movement is about to find its way to the crowds. It’s the brand new label of Orjan Nilsen – aptly called ‘In My Opinion’. A new chapter for Orjan, kicking off momentously with the mighty ‘Fable’, a collab with rising talent Fingerling.
It’s time for a new turn in the career of Norwegian producer/DJ Orjan Nilsen. From now on, the crazy talented musician embodies the role of label owner.
With an eclectic taste in anything electronic and a keen ear for all-destroying basslines and killer melodies, the IMO label will be Nilsen’s realm of floor-freaking goodies.
He hits play on his new adventure with the smashing tune of ‘Fable’. Teaming up with a new player, Fingerling, he gets his game on. And that’s a high-score, we reckon.
Early support: W&W, Hardwell, Nicky Romero, Gregor Salto.
Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the most influential young artist and producer did his most wise move to start his own record label under the guidance of Armada Music that celebrates 10 years of success and forward thinking releases. The Norwegian Orjan Nilsen starts his own opinion on how a record label should be run with his "In My Opinion" Label. The first release is here to please the new generation of Orjan Nilsen followers as it moves on the epic prog house/ USA EDM style that is so prominent at the big festivals at the moment. Its called Fable and is co-produced with the new name in my EDM encyclopedia Fingerling. Powerful hard banging beats, raw and rough hard dance style basslines and feel good trancy breakdown with sweet melodies that is followed by huge burst of high class euphoria with huge synths and right in your face sounds. The "wow" style vocal sample adds even more energy and drive to push the clubbers to the next level. With influences from what is very popular and effective on the dancefloor Orjan & Fingerling will excite your crowd for sure and you will feel that you always play at the mainstage of big festivals. Love IT
