REVIEW: John Newall - Now & Then out on Monster Digital

After the huge success of debut single ‘Trancelate’ gaining support right across the board including ‘A State Of Trance’, we knew it was only a matter of time before John Newall came up with the goods once again.

‘Now & Then’ is a power packed production loaded with a chunky kick drum, rolling percussion and one intensely snarling bassline! Swirling acid lines and neat plucks ramp up the energy, this one being all about revealing the huge melody and what a melody it is; a slightly old skool, leftfield one to die for.

 Perfect for ‘Now and then’!

Dimitri Kechagias review: Monster Digital serves the uplifting trance fanatics with a bang. The latest release comes from the very talented John Newall who is ready to bring you his action packed muscle stretching, body pumping, rough and shaking anthem Now & Then. His track is straight forward uplifting trancer of its purest, innocent and underground form and shape. It has the mechanical techy rough beats, the energetic driving basslines and of course plenty of acid overtones to remind us that trance is all about dark basements. The breakdown with breaks style sequence reveals beautifully the very strong euphoric melodic theme that transforms the track and it sounds like the light at the end of a very dark tunnel. The climax take us on board and carry us on its wings nicely for the full on hands in the air climax that bangs and shakes hard and fast. If you go for uplifting trance that stays true to its origins dont look any further. This Is What I Call Trance, Love iT
